Deep Water Point Reserve (with kids)

A perfect spot to spend peaceful weekend mornings or enjoy refreshing early runs — beautiful, serene, and simply stunning.

Lovely spot. Plenty of green space, shady trees and benches to sit on and enjoy the views of the city and river in general. A large, well known cafe is available with toilets inside, but there is also a public toilet block (I didn't use this so not sure how clean it is). The beaches along the river had nice white sand. It's a lovely place to relax and wind up busy days or weeks. Good for outdoor picnics. There are enough grass area, sand-field playground for children, shades, public toilets, and convenient 2P parking areas. We can walk to boat ramps or jetty for sightings of dolphins, seagulls, and swans.

Very convenient parking area and parkland for any local picnic, outdoor, or running / exercise activities. Free parking for the first two hours. Running loop pathways right around the bay. We did a seven km loop which was exceptional. Highly encourage getting away from the city and parking up here for a few hours of fresh air and adventure.
