Beatty Park Leisure Centre (solo trip)

I had not been to Beatty Park for about 30 years so it was a fantastic surprise seeing how it has been updated. It is a very user friendly centre with great facilities. The car park is excellent and we had no issues getting a spot (and shade). A great venue for young children. The kids pool is heated and has a lagoon edge gradually going to a depth of 90 cm. There are water slides, misters, 3 basketball rings, bubble pool, fountain and the bucket that refills quickly.... no additional charge. Plenty of friendly life guards on duty. My 3 yr old grandson loved it. There is also a heated indoor 25 m pool, and 3 outdoor pools.

I have travelled extensively, and I’d say this is one of the best leisure/fitness centres I’ve visited. The best swimming pool I’ve been to hands down. Clean as you can see, every facilities were maintained to look brand new. I wish I had found this place sooner. There are 3 pools outside, I like the second one but which is also deep over 1.75 meters.

Such a great leisure centre. Timeless and dependable. Fantastic gym and wonderful swimming facilities. Always great classes and instructors too.
