Travelodge Hotel Melbourne Docklands (solo trip)

, I have stayed here multiple times for the Aus Open as it's so handy to walk back after the tram or train. Showers do need a little more attention to detail as mould always builds up easily. Would stay again as for me I'm not in the hotel long as I'm out and about . Safe area too and only 10 mins longer on tram to avoid all the higher priced hotels. Breakfast was really well done !

Having stayer at Travelodge in Southbank previously, I had high hopes for this hotel. They diminished pretty soon after arrival. Parking was easy, greeted by friendly staff with a fancy looking lobby...and that's where the good stuff ends. Slow elevators.. then the room. Yeah it’s expected of any Travelodge. Shampoo and conditioner were low and had to ask twice for cleaning and repairs. Breakfast okay and some issues with bag drop but pretty standard. Won’t be staying again but not bad for a stock standard hotel when you come to do things.

Stayed here for 5 nights during Australian Open and whilst it’s not the newest hotel, the rooms were spacious and clean and has all necessities. The service is very accommodating, we asked for an extra pillow, new set of batteries for the TV remote and even a better iron and they were all provided with no fuss. This is 6 mins walk to the Marvel stadium and we booked here for that reason for Fridayz concert. 5 stars for that. The hotel is simple, clean and easy to get the taxi to other places we went whilst we stayed in Melbourne. The room is spacious enough. The only thing I didn't like is that there's only two pillows and I wish they would have provided two each person. Also the water in the shower kept...
