The location is amazing and one of the reception staff was friendly, but the room was dated and dirty. Housekeeping didn’t come when they said they would, and you need to request housekeeping and fresh towels which sometimes did not get done. The bed was clean and comfortable, but the rest of the room was tired and in need of maintenance. The worst part was that the room had an overwhelming odour from smokers. We had to keep the balcony door open at night to bring in fresh air.

I booked a one-night stay about two months in advance and requested parking at the time. The hotel called on the same day to confirm that parking would be available and that I could pay on arrival. We were very well looked after here. Our son was in the Royal Melbourne hospital for approx 2 weeks, and this accommodation is only a 5 minute walk away. Zafreen (manager) looked after us so well and was so compassionate. If anyone has need to be close to the RMH, I definitely recommend staying here.

I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel obligated to inform other consumers. We arrived after 7pm, and got a text message instructing us how to retrieve our keycard after-hours.
