Extremely rude and unprofessional staff – worst Ibis experience ever! I checked in at around 2PM on July 2nd, and the experience was truly unacceptable. The female staff at the front desk showed zero respect or courtesy. She did not say a single word about the room or explain anything during the check-in process. When it came to the deposit, she just barked “Card! Your bank card!” — no explanati...

Great location, close to the tram stop, but the front desk staff provided very poor service. We were staying at the hotel and asked for some information at the front desk. The staff answered the first time, but we couldn’t hear clearly. So we asked again to confirm. The staff looked at us but didn’t respond at all. If the staff doesn’t want to answer questions, they shouldn’t be working at the rec...

The main reason I wanted to leave a review today is because of the outstanding service I received recently. I had booked a night away but experienced a glitch with my computer, which accidentally changed the date at the last minute. I called and spoke with a lovely l...

I was only staying for one night and I needed an affordable place near Queen Victoria market to sleep. Ibis hotel ticked all the boxes - huge room and comfortable bed! It was obvious that the hotel is old now but everything worked well. Just the fridge was a bit loud time to time. Just a typical ibis hotel. Front desk was (at night and during the day) super friendly and efficient.

We stayed level 10 in a 2 bedroom and it was great. Plenty of room and everything we needed. Close to all the sights we wanted to visit in Melbourne and the trams are free in the city so it was very easy to get around. Breakfast was lovely. Great value for money especially when you compare it to other hotels in Melbourne. Would happily stay again.
