Ibis Budget Melbourne Airport (couple trip)

Route to the hotel was very confusing as there was no pedestrian walkways to the hotel (maybe bcs of roadwork). Room was clean and comfortable for 1-2 people. But they didn’t even give us a toothpaste and no bottle of water. Also it was a bit noisy as i can hear people walking in the corridor and lock or unlocking the door. Overall it was suitable for overnight stay

We came in dead tired at 11:30 pm after our flight to Sydney. We got a free room upgrade. The room was clean, so was the beds. Its not quite new but also not run-down. We did not hear any Airport noise. Would come again after a long flight. No one should expect 4 or 5 Star service here.

While our stay at the Ibis Budget hotel had its ups and downs, we ended up paying more than we expected. The bathroom was quite cramped, with a shower that felt a bit like a closet, and the rooms themselves weren’t much larger. Clean, comfortable and compact. Just a short walk to the airport. Yes, a tiny bit of noise can be heard from other guests, but that is normal for all hotels. Make sure you have sufficient data on your phones as no wifi in the rooms (only in shared spaces).

Booked 2 hours in advance. Directions from the terminal and check in instructions were super clear. Met our expectations for an overnight stay to rest- super clean room with basic amenities like tea/coffee, TV etc. Bed was comfy. Would definitely stay again for that price if needing to buffer bad flight times.
