Great location, but if your room is facing the street, it is noisy at night. I was 15 floors up and still the noise kept me awake. The room is a good size and comfortable. Location is excellent. I don't recommend the in-room dining. I ordered Ricotta and Spinach Cannelloni... it was so dry! They even served it with a packet of tomato ketchup on the side! Staff ate lovely and very friendly.

Great location and good sized rooms. The hotel is close to all that is necessary. Close to china town which has some great restaurants. Sarah at reception was excellent at customer service. She arranged for an earlier check-in after my super early flight arrival into Melbourne. Only disappointment was one lift for an 18 floor building. Which means long time waiting for the lifts and stops at mos...

I had a great stay at Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne. The location is fantastic — close to everything, which made it super convenient to explore the city. The hotel provides full 24-hour security, which made me feel safe at all times. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. I really appreciated that they stored my baggage both before check-in and after check-out — it made my...

Right from moment you walk in the reception staff are terrific. The rooms are modern and well appointed. I also found the breakfast buffet great and the ground restaurant offered great food at reasonable prices in the evenings. So it was very convenient for me given the in-house services available. The location is also very good with the centre of Melbourne and all that comes with that within walk...

I give this hotel a rating of 10/10. The staff is very nice—especially the lady at the front desk who was very helpful. She arranged an early check-in and even upgraded my room for just a few extra dollars. After the worst experience last night with another hotel, I booked the Grand Chancellor Hotel in Melbourne, and I definitely recommend it. It’s close to the city, surrounded by great cafes, an...
