Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport (couple trip)

We had to book last minute due to diverted travel plans in Vietnam. We were greeted warmly late at night and were efficiently checked in. Breakfast choices were excellent and staff provided excellent service. The room was spacious. Transfers to the airport were affordable and prompt. Will stay here again.

The location is wonderful, so convenient. We choose to walk to the terminal, it is only a 10minute stroll and nice before sitting for hours, however there is a shuttle bus. Having the restaurant and bar and site is so convenient. The food is delicious and drink choices good but expensive. The main thing is the rooms vary greatly. I have stayed here several times, usually before a very early morning departure, and appreciate how close it is to the airport. The staff is professional and friendly and the rooms clean, comfortable and well stocked. The restaurant is not going to win any awards but it's a decent meal and offers a good glass of wine.

Happy with our stay here for one night between flights. After phoning on arrival the shuttle arrived approx 15 minutes later and only a couple minutes drive to the hotel.
