Beautiful national park, a nice 2 hour leisurely hike if you walk up the mountain then back via boundary track!

We visited Kinglake Park — there’s a parking area available, which is convenient. The trail has two paths: one entrance and one exit. I thought we’d be able to see the waterfall up close, but from the path we took, it was only visible from a distance. Also, there was a fallen tree across the track, so you need to be a bit careful while walking. Still, it was a nice nature walk overall!🌲🌳🪾

My wife and I love hiking and came over to Kinglake for the first time. We loved it! The track we did was not too hard for us, but we are used to hiking frequently so could be challenging to others. It has some steep hills. It has a beautiful waterfall into a gorgeous canyon. Plenty of wildlife and native plants and trees. There was heaps of parking spaces. Overall it is a great place to get some ...

Good tracks through the bush. Good picnic and BBQ facilities. Mason waterfall a little dry, Mt Sugarloaf summit disappointing with only a small view of the city.
