Fitzroy Gardens is a beautifully maintained park offering a peaceful retreat just moments from Melbourne’s bustling CBD. Its wide, elm-lined pathways, expansive lawns, and seasonal floral displays create an inviting space for both locals and visitors. The gardens are rich in history, featuring landmarks like Cooks’ Cottage, which was transported from England and reassembled here in 1934, and the ...

🍁 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 Peaceful autumn walk vibes 🍂 The garden was sprinkled with golden leaves, giving that calm and slightly melancholic feeling you get in quiet parks during colder months. There were tree-lined paths, a lovely red ivy-covered building, and that fresh, post-rain air. Definitely one of those places where you’d want to take a slow stroll, pause often, and just breathe ...

These gardens are absolutely gorgeous. It is reminiscent of Central Park in New York. It is quiet and a nice recluse from the bustling city smatterings of gorgeous fountains all throughout as well as art pieces. I highly recommend anybody to come visit Fitzroy Gardens even if it is just to lie down in the shade and listen to the birds

I can’t believe I have not been here before. It’s a lovely park, huge and filled with greenery. Meticulously maintained, I felt like I was in the middle of the forest and not in the bustling city. Kids love it. There’s a search and find activity for everyone to get involved in. Also Great for taking photos. Playground only had 2 equipment but there’s the rest of the park to engage in.

Head straight towards the fairy tree area. That’s the best part of this garden. It has an amazing carved tree and a mini village setup. The whole garden is peaceful surrounded by colourful flowers and plenty of seating.
