Pullman Palm Cove Sea Temple Resort and Spa (with baby)

Unfortunately, this is not a 5-star hotel. Anyone accustomed to German hotel standards will find this to be an average 3-star hotel. The hotel grounds are very run down and unclean. The sun loungers are always dirty or covered in animal feces. Speaking of animal feces, the pool does not smell of chlorine at all. I don't know how it is cleaned or if it is cleaned at all. Our stay was awesome and we had a great time. Unfortunately, the pool was heated while the temperature outside was extremely hot. We didn't use the pool because of this. It would have been a great spot to relax and cool down.

If first impressions count, you think wow. Then the dream ends. You are greeted by the only friendly and competent staff member in the place. I really don't know where to start. We had a lovely stay at the Pullman Palm Cove. Coming from Melbourne we booked this trip for a winter getaway and was amazed with the resort and its facilities. Our 2 bedroom room was fantastic, made better with a rooftop including spa bath and BBQ facilities. Beautiful resort! Our room was quiet and roomy. The pool was fantastic, and staff very helpful (except when we ordered lunch by the pool. The order was incorrect and took forever to arrive). House keeping was not very good, as we constantly had sand and hair in our bathroom that never got cleaned. Also being 5 star I would have liked a pillow menu, because I really prefer a firm one.
