Pacific Sands Apartments Mackay (solo trip)

Absolutely horrible place to stay. The staff were rude, unprofessional and have an immature mindset. I noticed that when the women working there spoke to men, they were giggling and bubbly, but when I speak to them - cold, blunt and short. Not a good look. Firstly, I paid almost $700 for 4 nights - yet they try to charge anextra $25 just to get your towels and sheets changed? Absolutely absurd. ...

Always stay here when we go to mackay, place is getting run down. Needs some TLC, nice view of the river. Secure parking

I cannot believe how grotty the room was. I stayed in room 305, an apatment with 2 bedrooms, an ensuite and laundry. I believe that it has not been cleaned for some time due to the unit's poor state of cleanliness. Furniture-heavily stained, carpets-heavily stained, tiled areas-not swept or mopped. I would have cleaned the room myself however there were no cleaning items such as a mop or broom. ...

Room was dirty, floors sticky and pie crumbs on balcony floor. Kitchen cupboards had hand prints all over them. No broom, mop or dustpan in the room. Cobwebs in laundry cupboards, WiFi didn't work, reception was any help after complaining. Lounge had stains all over it. Messaged management had got no response. Overall disgusting wouldn't stay there again. Price was ridiculous for what we got. Airc...

Manager really rude...not very accommodating when we arrived from 3 flights from Tasmania in one day..after 6 hours delayed accommodation for 10 days paid up front, and because we arrived out of hours she hassled me ....4 times in 1 day(we missed all our connecting flights..so delayed some 6 hours from Tasmania.... she was not going to leave our key in night pick-up because she needed a key depos...
