Hotel Grand Chancellor Townsville (with kids)

The Sugar Shaker- had a function here, stayed the night in a 1 Bedroom Room with a bed set up in the main area for a 3rd person. Function meal was good, service was good, bed and pillows were comfy and room airport conditioning rather good and kept the room quite comfortable. Buffet breakfast was smashing too.

Honestly can not fault my stay or my experience. The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable ( which is most important to me when staying away from home) the staff where great and the location was excellent. Parking was a pain - but thats life I guess

Great location in the heart of Townsville city. Friendly welcome. Rooms a bit small but everything works and they are clean, showers hot and the beds very comfortable. Lots of restaurants and pubs in walking distance. Best views in town and nice rooftop pool.

This is my favourite hotel in Townsville. 24hr gym, room service and rooftop pool 🤤 excellent 👌🏻 and the staff are brilliant but most importantly they mind their own business and practice discretion but if U happen to need them they are super friendly and helpful. No complaints whatsoever 😃

If you're a shopper like me, you'll love the location as there's plenty of variety within the centre. This property is straight across the street from the Cowboys Leagues club. You could walk to the stadium as well from here and not worry too much about having a bevvy. The views from the Grand Chancellor in Townsville is absolutely breathtaking with blackout curtains which open up to a full sight ...
