Heritage Cairns (with kids)

Unfortunately my stay didn't live up to the price. During my stay there was very loud airconditioning works going on which was very disturbing that went on for the entire day with no warning upon arrival or decrease in the price. Unfortunately I wasn't able to leave the room & called management which offered a 50% refund, however I still havn't received any email or refund over a week later which...

Mostly very awesome, wonderful staff, spacious rooms, great location in Cairns. Minor complaints: shower head was chest-height on me, and washing and drying machines weren't free (everywhere else we stayed on this trip they were free).

I would never ever recommend this hotel. Requested an accessible room which was confirmed in the booking, but not provided. The room we were given was useless for a paraplegic in a wheelchair. No shower chair or grab rails in shower. The toilet seat came off - it only needed two screws to fix and be made safe. The receptionist told us people request accessible rooms for the space and sometime...

I had a comfortable few nights stay here. I have to say that the receptionist staff were very friendly, super accommodating and helpful, especially when I had to store my luggage before check in and after check out - I couldn't fault them.
