It was perfect. Stunning views the whole way and the ride was quick, about 45 minutes, with a nice breeze even in summer. Being above the rainforest with birds around was amazing. We walked through the rainforest in Kuranda, had lunch, and enjoyed cold beers at a local hotel. A great experience overall.

Skyrail / Cableway / Gondola / Ropeway all names in various parts of the world is the same ride in hanging cabins but passing over rainforest was something totally different experience! What wonderful sight and scenery! This ride is a MUST. The best way to experience Kuranda is going up to the village via railway and getting back via Skyrail.

A must see activity whilst visiting Cairns. This has been the highlight of my trip. We took the skyrail up to Kuranda which was such a beautiful view and experience. Kuranda had lots to do such as the bird and butterfly walk through, markets/shops and lots of food options. On the way back we took the train which provided the history of Kuranda aswell as beautiful scenery.

Super cool views from up there. The forest, the waterfalls, the river just looks amazing. This is a long 3 part sky rail and one of the segments is a real long one climbing you up the mountains. Friendly staff. Loved this. And of course there is a gift shop at the end and you can purchase your photo - who wouldn't?

We took the railway up & the skyrail down. Excellent experience - a definite highlight of the holiday. Staff were friendly and efficient. Spectacular views. Great gift shop. The stops were great to make it a full experience and provide great views of the falls. It works very well, being able to get on and off, with staff talking you through the process each time, and keeping it running smoothly.
