Pros: - Very convenient location, within a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre and close to the airport. A great base for activities. - Staff were friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. Cons: - The men’s amenities were in extremely poor condition. Toilets and walls were heavily soiled, and there was pubic hair in the showers for several days. Overall cleanliness was far below the standar...

We spent 3 nights here in an ensuite cabin and had an ok experience overall. While cleanliness was an issue (we found our toilet bowl sprayed with dry urine) staff was very helpful. The premises are a bit run down, rust and stains on the washing machines and many barbecue grills out of order. The location itself is OK, there is a bus going to the city center every hour at least. Overall it was an ...

We paid $62 per night for a drive through powered motorhome for 2 adults & 2 kids. Of the 6 caravan parks we stayed at during our 9 day trip, this was the most expensive, but the worst caravan park we stayed at (although this is not necessarily the fault of the park). The location close to the centre of Cairns is convenient. The amenities are ok, and mostly clean. Our motorhome extension cord was...

Located pretty nicely in the city, short drive to beach and the CBD. Kitchen is nice enough, Showers leave a little to desire but are okay. Pool is good. They have like a TV room for kids i think. Have washing machines coin operated. My big issue with the place is the Bats very very noisy in the morning, but that's not really the parks fault. Bats will bat.

When is the best time to visit NRMA Cairns Holiday Park (Great Barrier Reef Area, Australia)?

Dry season (May–Oct) offers clearer water and fewer jellyfish. During Nov–Apr use the pool stinger net and carry a light raincoat for tropical showers.
