What makes it 63% Baby-Friendly: Infants ride free, prams roll aboard, and change tables exist, yet no private nursing room, open railings, and a long sea crossing mean constant vigilance is essential for parents.
Why 0.5–1 day visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for dry reef activities and baby care stops without rushing.
Glass-bottom boat tour:
View coral and fish from the deck without getting wet.
Tip: Hold your baby securely and use the shaded seating to keep them comfortable.
Underwater observatory:
Descend into a sub-sea room to watch turtles and schools of fish.
Tip: Sit near the window for the best views and keep a baby carrier handy.
Ocean-enclosed kids’ pool:
Let your baby splash safely in a shallow, lifeguarded pool.
Tip: Bring swim nappies and stay close for extra supervision.

This was the highlight of our trip to Cairns. Even though weather wasnt the greatest had an awesome day. Most activities are free unlike the other tours.
Stinger season runs November to May. Dress your baby in a full-body stinger suit. April to October has fewer jellyfish and cooler water.
