Lovely little Museum in the heart of Cairns. Great history displays on local area, indigenous displays. Building of the Railway etc, lot's of info on individuals who made up Cairns history. Nice open veranda area upstairs with a breezy view of Cairns streets. Worth the visit, very reasonable price for entry. Recommend!

Extremely well set out - staff go beyond in their service- particularly the lady who helped us get access to a cab. She didn't need to follow up to see that we had been helped. In all, the attention to detail in the displays certainly was in line or better than other museums we have visited. We'll done.😀

We had a 30 minute stop at the museum as part of a day tour with another company. James was assigned to us - and what can I say - he was A - M - A - Z - I - N - G. I could have stayed all day with him - he was informative, funny, kind and inclusive. I highly recommend that anyone who visits Cairms - they should visit this museum and learn what the city is all about. It is an incredible history...
