Positives:

  • Free entry: All garden areas and paths are complimentary, making it easy on the budget.
  • Pram-friendly routes: Most main trails are paved and level, ideal for a baby stroller.
  • Shaded rest spots: Numerous shelters and benches offer cool, protected spots to feed or change baby.

Challenges:

  • Limited change facilities: Public toilets lack dedicated change tables; bring a portable mat for comfort.
  • Tropical sun and bugs: High humidity and mosquitoes appear midday; dress baby in light layers and repellent.
  • Narrow indoor spaces: Conservatory aisles can be tight; use a carrier rather than a wide stroller inside.

Beautiful gardens. Great place to go for a walk and enjoy the sights it has to offer. You can stroll around at your own leisure. Lots of amazing plants and flowers to take a photo of. You can even sit in the grass areas and enjoy a picnic.

Very nice lots of exotic plants - We spent three hours here. It was very pleasant- cool in the rainforest shade out of the hot sun. Nice lakes to walk beside where we saw several turtles, 9 inch fish. Scrub turkeys, some other birds and ducks.

Beautiful trees and plants along a winding pathway with a pretty lake. Has toilets, cafe and information centre. It has an area for music and bands to play. They have a market the last Sunday of the month, which I attended. There were varied locally made things to buy and also street food to eat. All in all a great place to visit.
