What makes it 65% Baby-Friendly: Smooth pram paths, shade and toilets aid carers, but no listed baby-change tables or nursing room and tropical heat require extra gear and careful timing with infants.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to stroll the foreshore, enjoy a shaded picnic and use baby facilities without rushing.
Stroller-friendly foreshore walk:
Follow the 2 km paved path along Cleveland Bay from the park entrance.
Tip: Start at sunrise for cooler temperatures and calm waters.
Gazebo picnic break:

Baby change stops:
Use accessible toilets near the main entrance and bandstand.
Tip: Locate signs first, then keep wipes and diapers handy.
Playground watch:
Observe older kids at slides and swings from shaded benches.
Tip: Hold your baby securely if you get close to play equipment.

Great public space with open marina views, city views and some huge trees. Open grassy spaces, park benches, old bandstand, shade and excellent Anzaac information

One of Townsvilles best parks. Sitting between the old customs house building and the marina. Very popular for wedding, family and graduation photography. Always kept in top condition. Approximately 5 acres of lawn, massive fig trees and the Anzac cenetarf.
Dry season (May–Oct) mornings are mild; in wet season bring rain cover and plan around afternoon showers.
