Vibe Hotel Gold Coast (solo trip)

We were quite disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, the woman at reception was noticeably unwelcoming, which set a negative tone from the beginning (10 July) . The room itself was average, but the bathroom was quite dated. The shower was difficult to operate, and if you’re paying extra for a bath, don’t bother, it’s more like a baby tub and not worth the additional cost. The breakfast buffet ...

Brenden at the outside bar was fantastic! Amazing customer service and a good laugh. The spa was great and so nice to relax in. The rooms were good, bathroom a little dated but no issues. Make sure you are under 2m if you want to park as the roof is very low. Overall very happy with this hotel!

One of the better values in Surfers. It’s across Ferny Ave. but still a fairly convenient location. Rooms are of a slightly older build style but quite comfortable. Staff are great. Lobby and lounge are cool.

Arrived late in the evening and check in was made easy with helpful reception staff. However, the $30 parking fee was unexpected..... Got up to the room which appeared to be clean for the most part. The bathroom unfortunately was tired. The shower was manageable but I can't imagine someone taller being able to shower comfortably as the space was confined at best. Not to mention the slipping hazard...
