Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise (solo trip)

Overall was good location and good ammenities. The view from our room was amazing. We were disappointed to arrive to a room that hadn’t been properly cleaned, and we had to clean it ourselves. The sink had stuff left on it, floors were dirty, and the room had a funky smell. Apart from that it was a really good place to stay.

Room had an excellent view of the ocean. It was really spacious, with a separate lounge room and balcony. Amenities were easy to obtain from the front reception. I liked the reserved carpark and it was incredibly cheap for undercover private parking, however, it was a narrow car park and the ramps were very steep. Check in driveway was also very narrow and often got congested due to people parking...

We had a great time (6 days) at this hotel. The beach is practically as soon as you leave the building, amazing view from the room. As for the staff, Mr. Adam was amazing. He stood out for his high personal culture and was always there to help. Adam provided us with one of the most professional services ever.

We had an exceptional stay at the Merton for a celebration and couldn't recommend it more. Jinny and Lani were excellent and organised a special gift in our room for us with incredible views. The suite was very well equipped with a comfortable bed and amazing balcony. The pools were great and the outside space was a great place to chill and relax. I had an excellent stay at The Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise. I stayed in a corner 1 bedroom suite and it was a fantastic room, especially if you are staying a few days. Having a full kitchen would definitely come in handy for longer stays. The room was really nice and double the size of most large hotel rooms.
