Gold Coast Inn (couple trip)

Good location with the tram station right across the road and really close to the beach. The pool was nice but that’s where it ended. The reception hours aren’t very long so if you need to talk to someone you can’t, the phone number on the website etc doesn’t exist either. The dirty bed sheets were stained. No bible We requested a blanket that was not clean and gave it to me The shower had mould in the shower We had to ask for milk, soap, a hairdryer. This place should be pulled down by a demolition company and loaded out on trucks and then build a motel that people can actually enjoy .

Do not stay at this hotel. Do not trust the staff. I left my phone at reception to charge for a couple of hours this morning.after being assured it was fine to do so. It was ok. Pros are great location with tram stop right at your door, AC in the room, decent size room for a solo traveller, bathroom with an opening, good wifi and free parking. Cons are it's outdated but it's all reflected in the price. I didn't book this place expecting a modern hotel. Bed wasn't very comfortable.
