Chateau Beachside Resort (couple trip)

I didn’t spend a lot of time here, but it was very spacious and clean. The infrastructure was a bit old, but it was fine and reasonable for a stay. The location was perfect—right next to Surfers Paradise.

Only thing good about this "hotel" is the location. Rooms are disgusting, mold in the bathroom and kitchen area and the room itself in a while doesn't look to have been cleaned in a LONG time. Service when we told them about the mold, refused to swap our room or give a refund. Aged location with charm for the price point. Fantastic location and range of facilities for the cost per night. Personal shoutout to the man at the front counter (I didn't get your name - short, in a button up, black hair). Was very helpful, relaxed and accommodating.

It's a cheap 2 to 3 star hotel. There is no air conditioning, no room service, nothing. You get a bed, a shower, a toilet and some towels. A microwave and bare fridge. A TV. If you need luxury, go somewhere else. This is by far the cheapest stay, but it's right on the beach, has basic laundry, pools and amenities, and is in a hot location a short stroll from Caville Ave. Everything is just outside...

This accommodation is located right at Surfers Paradise, which makes it a really good location. Everything is at a walking distance. We used trams to get to far away places. The room was good but didn't have air conditioning. So, good for winter accommodation. Service was good. Location is prime, and this place is reasonably priced.
