Browns Broadbeach (couple trip)

We had to cancel our reservation four days in advance due to an unexpected medical emergency — completely out of our control. We reached out immediately to see if there was any flexibility or possibility for even a partial refund, but were met with a flat-out denial and zero empathy. This motel is budget and quiet worn out. Bed was broken and the fridge had freezer only. Lady at reception and handling the bookings was lovely. Also responded promptly to our email about the problems in the room.

I don't think I've ever given a motel/hotel a 1 star. This looked, felt, and smelled like a converted utility closet. It was disgusting, dirty, and wet. Inadequate waterproofing on the badly installed shower, random electrical cables, poorly installed tiling, no air con so there were 2 Kmart heaters on the room. Random old stabby scissors, no soap, and wet bedsheets were just some of the homey ...

Needed a place to stay for the night in Goldie - found this place and had been a great stay! Greeted nicely by Naomi and she was nothing but absolutely helpful!. Location was great as it was near a few cafes and restaurants. Better yet - walkable distance to Pacific Fair! Great stay and will def come back here again :)

The room was good, the shower needs alot of patience re getting the hot water on when it's winter. Speaking of patience too it's a noisy area so that requires consideration if you want peace & quiet. * I found it easy booking in & with the staff so it's worth staying at as the rates are nice in this day & age as they're affordable so to balance your budget I'd recommend 100% for a short or longer ...
