Broadbeach Savannah Resort (couple trip)

Location on busy road, hear every noise, no parking but street parking. Unsafe hotel, needs major upgrades, very old. Pictures do not show how old. Do not feel safe staying here. Not very clean, use over powerful smelly cleaning products to cover the musty smell. Would recommend not staying here, especially if travelling solo or with children.

Firstly, parking at the hotel is limited. Stayed there 3 nights and for the first two I had to park on the street because there wasn’t enough room in the basement. The actual room was disgusting, boogers on the walls and the air conditioning was filled to the brim with mould. My partner came home sick with her body aching and we only stayed 3 nights. Absolutely disgusting rooms and unhelpful staff. No blankets provided, just a sheet. Bathroom was disgusting and should be ashamed. Smell of weed on arrival. Spotted several cockroaches. Room door and personal security lacking completely. No safety chain or additional lock. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, nothing positive can be written. Email address is from google is a red flag to me.

Was underwhelmed by the standard of the resort. Firstly parking is inadequate for the number of rooms available. We booked a room with a queen bed and was not a queen bed- had 2 singles pushed together, no mattress protector and the separation of the two mattresses was very uncomfortable to sleep on. No cover on the bed and an odd number of pillows - not comfortable and dirty marks on the sheets. ...

Stayed here last minute after being stuffed around with a previous booking. Managed to get a room for 2 nights at 6pm that same night. And at a cheaper price! Clean room, great view! So close to the beach and shops. Lovely staff. Definitely be back again
