Stayed at Blue Heron at the end of November for 1 night. I want to begin the review by saying I stayed here before and enjoyed my stay very much that’s why I rebooked. The night I stayed there were roadworks occurring out the front of the motel. The sound went all night until at least 3am and was incredibly loud - grinding, scraping, reversing sounds. I used ear plugs for hours and still couldn’t...

We loved our stay at the Blue Heron! The rooms were super cute and comfy, the pool area was great, and the location was perfect - just a short stroll to the beach and great cafes. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

My son's school camp was cancelled but the motel owners were gracious to give us credit to use when school camp got rescheduled. Great experience, calm and convenient location. Would recommend.

I paid $200 more than the other 4 pay in our group. That was my fault though. The rooms are fresh and the bedding comfy. The nesspresso leaked all over the counter, the loo seat slipped and moved beneath you, and we had baby spiders, millions of them.. so maybe some pest treatment req.

Great, clean room. Nice bathroom and shower. The pool was only a few feet from my door. Easy and quick check in. August 2025 and they're building tram tracks outside on the highway at night but I barely heard a thing. Pretty quiet. Good experience. I'll stay there again.
