Positives:

  • Fast Access: Elevator reaches level 77 in 43 seconds, so you spend more time viewing.
  • Solo-Friendly Exhibits: Complimentary binoculars, short film and displays let you explore at your own pace.
  • Unobstructed Views: 360° wraparound deck design offers clear sightlines from any angle.

Challenges:

  • Peak Crowds: Weekends and sunset times can fill the deck, making photo spots scarce.
  • Limited Free Seating: The café corner has few free seats and all menu items are paid.
  • Elevator Lines: Queueing for the high-speed elevator can add wait time during busy periods.

The views are incredible! I would have paid $44 just to look at the views, but for $44 you get entry to the observation deck, plus a buffet breakfast. The buffet has a wide variety of hot and cold options and plenty of gluten-free options. There's even a separate toaster for the gluten-free bread. Not all gluten-free options are labelled as such, e.g. the sausages, so it pays to ask. Filter coffee...

Zoomed to the top in seconds — the lift was impressively quick! Once you're up there, the 360° view of the Gold Coast is absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall good vibe. However, it felt a bit pricey for just the observation deck, especially since there's no additional attraction included and no concession price for students. That said, there’s a restaura...

We visited in the morning and discovered they offer a breakfast buffet. It's a thoughtful idea to allow guests to enjoy breakfast with the view. However, diners might find the experience less pleasant due to crowds visiting solely for the viewpoint. From the deck, one can see the beach and inland waterways.

Go early and have the buffet breakfast while looking over the gold coast. Food is reasonable and location is above average. Thought the price was reasonably. Fantastic view of the gold coast. The only better view would be in a helicopter. We really enjoyed this experience and have gone a few times now. Night time views are also pretty. If you have a dreamworld annual pass you can visit without...
