How Baby-Friendly is Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary?

Pram-friendly paths, multiple baby-care rooms, bottle-warming and free under-3 entry suit infants, but many animal encounters and ziplines exclude babies and shows can be loud.

Considerations for visiting Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (with baby)

Positives:

  • Pram Accessibility: Wide paths, highway tunnel, and ramped access make stroller navigation easy.
  • Onsite Baby-Care Facilities: Multiple rooms with feeding areas, bottle warmers, and change tables are available free of charge.

Challenges:

  • Limited Shade on Trails: Some animal areas lack overhead cover; bring sun protection and a pram hood to shield your baby.
  • Uneven Ground Sections: Gravel or tree roots appear on some paths; consider a sturdy pram or baby carrier if needed.

Recommended visit duration: 3-4 hours

Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This allows time for pram-friendly walks, two bird-feeding shows, and breaks in baby-care rooms without rushing.

Worth coming! This place is kept neat and clean. The animals / reptiles are housed in nice and spacious environment. Parking area is spacious however it is $10 per entry. You can take picture with the koala at a price. The kids enjoy the interaction at the kangaroo zone.

Very nice wildlife park spread over a large area. Very interactive with many areas to walk amongst the animals, the kids really enjoyed getting up close to them. We didn’t bother feeding the kangaroos as they seemed like they were all fed by 11am, so if you want to experience feeding the kangaroos probably earlier in the day they would be hungrier.

It was a very good experiences with the wonderful staffs who always give us a good experience. The bird flight show was spectacular and worth the time. The presentation of the animals by the staffs was awesome and there were good activities to wow the visitors. Treetop activities will be good when it restart. Worth a visit!

Really worth it to come here to the nearby airport And the entry fee will help the animals which need to recover our education. Not too big but the map here isn't good enough to find the right direction and all the signs and maps got me more confused 😐 The show timetable really recommended everyone to have a look they are special and conscientious. And feeding birds is the best part to be at th...

My kids and I had a wonderful day here. The animal displays are spacious and well maintained. We really loved the red pandas. My teenage daughter wanted to do the high ropes and she really enjoyed it and felt safe at all times. Finding a park was a big of a challenge but if you got there early in the day it would probably be easier. I'd recommend allowing the whole day especially if you have littl...
