I really love this place, great atmosphere, fitout and bar! The bar staff are accommodating, friendly and great to deal with. They always go the extra mile for me. I wish the bloke with the beard and glasses working on the front desk would be accomodating and friendly but you can’t have everything. Highly recommend - just avoid the guy with the beard and glasses.

Checked into a room with dirty cups , can literally see dried coffee in it , disgusting. Glasses were dirty. Base of the kittle was missing. Went to speak to the receptionist. Waited in the 40 mins no one came by, I had to go back to reception, they gave me cups from the cafe. Next day when we return back to our room. Cups and glasses were not replaced ! Never seen worse ways to make up our beds....

I’ve just spent four night at Rydges Canberra. Nice and spacious. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Donna. Donna took care of us for our evening meals. What a wonderful addition.

Ali and Mani were wonderful to deal with. Rooms were a great size, breakfast was hot and top quality (we have stayed at multiple hotels - variety was not as large at Rydges but made up for this in quality). The whole stay was a pleasure - Ali personally came to our room to set up chrome cast for us within 5 minutes of calling reception. Will come here again 😀
