QT Canberra, an EVT hotel (couple trip)

Rooms are disgusting - not clean and very dusty. We stayed Friday,Saturday and Sunday nights we arrived late Friday so we just stayed the night I advised reception of the room and they moved us up a couple floors to another Jnr Suite that was clean but still very dated and the balcony looked like it was going to fall. We were booked in to stay for two nights, but left after one. There is definitely a lot of difference to the standards and quality of QT hotels. We have stayed at various QT hotels and this one is the worse by far. When we arrived there was no parking available due to a function in the hotel. I recently stayed at QT Canberra and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel staff were excellent — welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help, which made my stay feel comfortable and enjoyable. I stayed here for a business trip and loved it. The rooms were really spacious, the view of the lake was amazing, the service was great and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Only downside was the cost of the parking and the structure of it - your time doesn't start from arrival, but instead is a set time in the afternoon.
