Peppers Gallery Hotel Canberra (solo trip)

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were super friendly and very attentive. Our room was spotless, the food was delicious, the overall service was excellent. It’s a quiet, peaceful place - perfect for relaxing. We’ll definitely be back!

Room was a bit tired, Bedheads had peeling fake leather, blockout curtains produced a heavy cloud of dust when moved, 3 of 4 provided coffee pods where decaffeinated, provided shower amenities were all empty, 2 towels provided for 3 booked in guests. I have stayed at Peppers 3 times now and each time has been great. I travel to Canberra for work often so I have tried many of the hotels and this is easily my favourite. The staff are all lovely, the rooms are great (especially the new ones), and the food is brilliant. I will be staying here every time I'm in Canberra.

The checkin experience was very pleasant, the front desk staff is nice and tried to make conversation which makes you feel welcomed even though I was worn out from the drive to continue the chat. The place overall is satisfactory. However, in the room my family booked, there was only a shower, (not complaining), no microwave, no cutlery, no toaster, no bowls/plates and very scratched bed frames. This was a bit of a surprise to us, but I think the atmosphere in general made it a bit more likeable. It's near many attractions as swell as a convenience store just down the road. Beds are comfy ...
