Manuka Park Serviced Apartments (couple trip)

We spent 2 nights at Manuka Park apartments & am happy to share the apartment was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. We checked in late and we were so pleased that the heating was on so when we got there the room was nice and warm for us. Being walking distance to shops and restaurants was really convenient

It was a terrible apartment. The bathroom was connected to the living room. So everyone sitting around can hear everything you are doing. The hot water system was in the closet and very loud. And it was infested with ants when we arrived. We also asked for an extra bed. And it was broken and missing slats. Tv didn't work in the bedroom. It did have a good fridge and coffee machine

The location is amazing and that's where the pros stop. The apartments were very old and run down, and looked it desperate need of renovation. It was uncomfortably cold, the heater had to be kept on 28°, so that we wouldn't freeze. The ground near all of the windows felt frozen from the cold. The toilet kept running. Good place to stay, great location and the pool is good. The rooms are very old and tired though but comfortable enough, we swapped to a ground floor unit which was a bit newer and cleaner than the top floor unit (which was dirty and smelled of cigarettes).
