Mantra MacArthur Hotel (couple trip)

The room & bathroom were lovely. The "King" bed, was just 2 singles pushed together so was a bit disappointed as there was an uncomfortable seam in the bed. A bit disappointed that there was no microwave to heat up puddings or porridge or milk etc. I could hear the people in the next hotel room, which wasn't pleasant especially late at night.

1) Toilet exhaust fan not working.Reported it to reception.They casually said it's working but very slow....we get lot of complaints about it. 2) very small room closet/wardrobe....only 3 hangers were there for two persons. 3) While receiving the room key, they asked for my debit/credit card and deducted $100 as pending and said I will get it back after returning the room key. We would have to say that the customer experience on this occasion was outstanding from the Front Desk gentlemen Arnel to the young gentleman at the Restaurant whilst we dinned and the friendly lady at Breakfast. We had buffet breakfast with a relative that was staying there. The food was very nice. However, as a wheelchair user I was disappointed that I could not reach the hot dishes to serve myself. The bench they were on is very high. As an adult I like to be autonomous, having to ask for help removes that dignity.

This was the first time I stayed here, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. On the map, I thought initially that the position wasn’t that good, but I was totally wrong!
