Little Drifter Canberra (couple trip)

Amazing stay, the room was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The location couldn’t be better, super easy to walk everywhere and surrounded by great cafés. I loved the big kitchen and the chill common areas, especially the rooftop. Great value overall, and I’d happily stay here again!

Unfortunately the bathroom plumbing meant the room was incredibly smelly. On top of that, there’s little soundproofing, so the guests who came home at two and partied next to our room til four am, meant we did not sleep. I felt this was advertised as a comfortable hotel, not a backpackers, and so was disappointed by the reality. If I realised it was a backpackers, I would have chosen another hote...

Highly recommend this clean, modern hostel. Lots of communal spaces, good kitchen set up, friendly staff and guests. I noticed the shared female toilets have a keypad lock on the outer door which is great for women’s safety. I wish I could have stayed longer! What a fantastic hostel. It was clean, quiet, and super comfortable. The kitchen is huge and has ample space for your groceries, a major plus! The staff were also wonderful and made me feel very welcome. Its location is great, close to the tourist center bus station and with a lot of coffeeshops around. Highly recommend!

I stayed in the Queen Compact - it was great value for money. The bed was very comfortable. Little Drifters is clean, and the facilities are great. The rooftop area was a great place to do work and later unwind. Internet was fast. The location is excellent - everything I wanted to see in Canberra (galleries, museums, parks etc) was in walking distance.
