Hotel Kurrajong Canberra (couple trip)

Had a great two night stay with my wife and child at Hotel Kurrajong. Our room was very nicely kept and was spacious. Ensuite was nice too. Our included breakfast was tasty and very filling. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I personally loved the heritage character of the hotel, especially the fireplace in the foyer. Would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure and shower exceeded expectations. Food was amazing. Disappointingly, it can take up to 24 hours to remove your room service tray from outside your room.

Beautiful rooms and great location. We are extremely disappointed with the service. On arrival the man didn’t know if our room had been cleaned (at 6:30pm) and told us to come back to reception if it wasn’t clean! I had a pleasant experience. The room was well appointed and plush and generously sized. The decor is aged but tastefully so throughout, and the staff are kind and professional. The toilet made a very mild trickling sound overnight which was irritating, but acceptable.

Customer service was awful. I paid for a Classic King room, which from the pictures looked reasonably sized. However the room was way too small, with barely any room around the bed to walk around. It was clearly a room designed for a single bed but they put in a king bed. I went to reception to confirm if the room I was in was a king room and they said yes.
