Burbury Hotel (solo trip)

As soon as we arrived, Emma at the front desk welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, made our lunch and dinner plans easy. In my opinion, Burbury is fortunate to have someone like Emma on their team, it makes a huge difference and because of our experience we will be back.

I loved my stay here. Staff were super helpful. Room - very spacious and quiet with a desk - helpful when working away from home. Really comfortable bed. Maybe an option for a smaller sized pillow would be good. Nice teas. Great shower with good pressure. I liked that the cafe was across the road and gym at a nearby Hotel - it meant there was less frenetic activity around the lobby area.

We had a good stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We ordered room service for dinner, but it was a bit disappointing at first the food arrived in a takeaway bag, and the steak was too tough to eat. We called to complain, and the staff handled it well. They quickly sent a new meal, this time properly served on a tray, and also gave us a complimentary wine as an apology. Great ...

We have stayed here twice now and both times have been amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was amazing and we were able to get take out from the restaurant across the road which is connect to the hotel. Highly recommended.

First impressions were nice, the staff were friendly, and the ambiance in the lobby is beautiful. I was told I had a standard room; so I expected the average run of the mill room. But upon exiting the lift on the 2nd floor I quickly got a hospital/nursing home vibe, which made sense when I discovered I’d been given a mobility accessible room that I didn’t request.
