Pram-friendly paths, baby-change toilets, shaded shelters and a toddler sandpit suit infants; still, no indoor nursing room, and wind off the water can be chilly in winter.

Challenges:

  • Weather exposure: Limited shade on parts of the lake circuit can feel hot in summer and cold in winter.
  • No indoor nursing rooms: Shelters and benches offer privacy but there is no dedicated indoor nursing space.

We love it here. Such a serene place, perfect for finding solitude, or for going on community walks, spending time with family at the playground, having a picnic by the lake. There’s options to be done by all ages. The park is clean and well maintained. Lots of birds and animals, with the occasional lizards. I recommend this place for families.

One of the best playground in Canberra. Lots of places to roam. Test your mettle at a basketball court and skatepark, kids areas, barbecue and a pegolla. Currently under construction for upgrades for a new bathroom and seated area but the grounds are still accessible. Lake run or walk is a must do
