The Baso is a treasure. Magic vibe, unpretentious, and dedicated to the cause of live metal and alt-rock. The best place to sample local, Aussie, and international bands. Great burgers n chips too!

Great vibes, great staff. Saw Luca Brasi here a while back and it was such a fantastic little venue. Went to a couple of their themed dance party nights, it was also fab. Very welcoming, safe and friendly. Toilets are surprisingly clean for a club. A gem of a venue.

We've been here twice for concerts. We liked it. Great beer, and before the performance, you can play billiards or have your dinner

In summer head early to snag beer-garden seating. In winter stick to the heated interior bars.
