What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Babies enter free and can splash in the shallow toddler pool under sun canopy, yet no listed nursing room or change tables and the cold, hard ice rink is impractical for infants.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Gives time to enjoy the toddler pool, try the waterslide, and relax with your baby without rushing.
Toddler Pool Play:
Let your baby splash safely in the shallow toddlers’ pool under watchful supervision.
Tip: Use the solar-shade canopy to keep baby cool and out of direct sun.
Small Waterslide:
Slide into the learners’ pool with your baby on your lap for gentle thrills.
Tip: Stand at the pool edge to catch baby safely as you come down.
Heated 50 m Pool Relax:
Parents can swim laps while holding baby in warm water close by.
Tip: Visit during off-peak hours (10 am–11:30 am) for quieter pools.
Picnic and BBQ Area:
Bring snacks and use free BBQs next to the pool for a family picnic.
Tip: Arrive early to grab a shaded spot near the toddlers’ pool.

Great centre of Canberra ice hockey culture and community, friendly to the public, beginners, and all the way up to our might Brave & Pirates players!

I love this 50 metre pool. We live close by and it convenient to public transport. It would be a bonus to have a heated alternative for the colder months and rehab.
Summer mornings are cooler and less crowded. In winter the heated pools stay warm; wrap baby in a towel before and after swim.
