Canberra Nara Peace Park is such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The Japanese garden design, lanterns, and lake view create a very calming atmosphere. It’s well maintained and perfect for walking, relaxing, or just enjoying nature. During the Nara Candle Festival, the park looks absolutely magical. A wonderful spot to experience both culture and tranquility in Canberra.

Nice, quiet park with some interesting monuments and a zillion midgets, especially near the water. The scripts alongside each of the works provided some interesting background info. Easy ticket parking, not crowded mid morning. Don’t use the bathrooms near the carpark, old and unclean.
