YHA Brisbane City (solo trip)

Possibly the plushest YHA I've stayed at (either in the UK or Aus). V clean and well equipped room easily on par with a hotel room. Good breakfast too. I didn't try all the facilities, but suspect they would be equally as good. Only downside is that it's not too close to jumping on the city cat ferry service, but use one of the electric scooters and you have that sorted.

I’m here for a business trip and it’s amazingly suitable. Really love the co working space area and the kitchen. Haven’t got time to try other great activities such as Monday pan cake or Sunday boomerang painting. Add on, It’s got a Coles within 5 minute walk! Will return!

Usually, I would give a 5-star rating, but this time I won't. The front desk staff, particularly the Asian woman, was not friendly at all. She barely spoke to me or smiled, and I had to keep asking her questions while she maintained a straight face. I didn't want to engage with her anymore. The staff here are amazing - always so friendly and professional! The customer service is top-notch. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the value is unbeatable. There are plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. Feeling safe and secure is a priority here. This is my second visit, and I will definitely be booking again in the future. Highly recommend!
