We stayed 3 nights and were shocked by the lack of cleanliness, rubbish left in the bathroom bin and rotten meat and open milk left in the fridge, which stank out the room. The night receptionist was helpful, but management later accused us of staging the food, which was both offensive and untrue. No refund, no apology, and no accountability. Our family of three stayed comfortably in this hotel in July 2025. Front desk manager Kirsty did an amazing job in making us feel welcome when we arrived earlier than expected. She went out of her way to accommodate our early check-in and we truly appreciate her help. We were able to freshen up before we head out to our ferry to Stradbroke Island. Great location with very helpful reception and hospitality staff. Smorgasbord breakfast available in restaurant on ground floor too. There's a lounge area there, too, with an automatic beverage dispenser that I'm sure works overtime. Close to some hospitals and restaurants, both take away and dine in, and bus services. Southbank and the city are both a short walk away.

Stayed here for a night , going to an event at the princess theatre, when arriving, little bit of a mix up at the reception someone had checked into our original room I understand mistakes happen , can't fault the service from the staff member. Location is certainly ideal for things. Rooms little small and things falling apart. Stayed in more high end hotels for less money.
