Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane (couple trip)

Quite a lovely hotel! I can’t believe I haven’t tried staying in here before considering I’ve tried out a couple other hotels in the city. Everything was modern and new with beautiful vintage touches which were so aesthetic. My room was clean and tidy and so spacious to my surprise! We have stayed here for staycations 4 times now. We always book the 1 bed apartment as they feel the best value, Nice a roomy, House keeping are great rooms are always clean. The showers are hot and with lots of pressure (only downside is the water does leak out of the shower a bit need to angle the head down). Excellent location and lovely modern rooms. Only issue we has was the cleaning wasn't up to the standard I'd expect for Adina. I had to point out to the front desk old dental floss on the bathroom floor and a clump of hair on bed. They arranged a proper clean for us. I would stay again for location and the modern new rooms.

Our hotel room was really gross and dusty. I sat on the floor with my child and my hand got covered in someone else's long blonde hair. One of the TVs was broken - about 1/4 of the screen was dark and the picture regularly cut out. The pool is in an alleyway and not heated at all - on a 26 degree day it felt about 12 degrees. Very disappointing experience at this hotel! At 10 pm, my rooms still hadn’t been cleaned (see photos). Nobody even bothered to show up. On top of that, I requested a simple one-hour late checkout (from 11 am to 12 pm). Instead of showing any flexibility, I was told I had to pay extra.
