What makes it 75% Baby-Friendly: Pram-friendly paved paths, lagoon duck watching, low sand-play gear and nearby toilets help parents, but no confirmed nursing room or guaranteed change table slightly lowers convenience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time for a lagoon stroll, playground visit, picnic, and coffee break.
Lagoon Boardwalk Stroll:
Push a pram on the flat, paved path around Underwood Lagoon and spot ducks and waterbirds.
Tip: Start early to avoid crowds and bring sunscreen.
Gazebo Picnic:
Use the covered picnic shelters with tables and nearby BBQs for a relaxed family meal.
Tip: Choose a shelter close to toilets and the playground for convenience.
Toddler Sand Play Area:
Let your baby explore the low slides and sand diggers in the secondary sand play zone.
Tip: Pack a change of clothes and small toys to keep your baby engaged.
On-Site Coffee Van:
Grab a flat white or snack from the mobile coffee van near the playground.
Tip: Visit when your baby naps in the shade for a quiet break.

I came here working on a school holiday programme with a bunch of my kids and it was fantastic place to bring them toilets and nearby plenty of tablespace for picnics and lunch and the play area is just fantastic

What a beautiful setting offers an off leash dog area, multiple play areas for kids, bbq’s, bmx tracks and walking trails. The zen atmosphere as you walk the many tracks around the landscaped gardens or up through the many bush trails are simply soul food. This is a well layed out family friendly and dog friendly place for a happy event or day out.

A spacious and well-maintained park 🌿 The atmosphere is very relaxing, with lots of greenery and clean, shaded areas. Trees are beautiful, and there’s a variety of wildlife around. Plenty of space for outdoor activities — walking, jogging, cycling, or just having a picnic. There’s also a playground for kids. A great spot to enjoy fresh air and spend a chill day outdoors.

We enjoyed a peaceful afternoon walking along the duck pond and exploring the nearby park. The setting was serene, and it was the perfect way to unwind and take in some nature.

Fully open as at April 2025. Large area with various playgrounds, Bike track, Netball Courts, Small & Large Dog fenced areas. BBQs and ammenities. Walk amongst the tranquil bush land settings, with water and bridges. Suitable for younger children if supervised. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended. PS - it’s a big area, so if you want the FUNderwood Hollow play areas, drive right up the back carp...
In summer, visit before 10 AM for cooler walks. In winter, afternoons are sunnier and wind is lighter.
