What makes it 79% Solo-Friendly: The park offers free fitness stations, long foreshore paths, safe patrolled swimming and cafés, so a lone visitor can exercise or relax easily, but public transport options are limited at night.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: A 2–3 hour visit lets you jog the foreshore, swim, use fitness stations and grab a coffee without rushing.

Solo Swim or Sunbathe:
Enter calm, patrolled water for a relaxing swim or lie on the sand with a book.
Tip: Swim between the flags in summer and rinse off at nearby outdoor showers.

Nice place to get a cool sea breeze on a hot, sunny day...

We've been going to Sutton's for three decades now. It's a whole site busier now but still is a great spot for a BBQ or picnic. Heaps of areas for kids to play away from the water but the beach is generally fairly safe swimming. There might be a surf lifesaving unit there but last time I there their building was being renovated.

Beautiful, peaceful part of the coast line. Excellent walking path, picnic tables, bench seats, play equipment and lovely ocean views

The Suttons Beach area is amazing for families and young adults or singles. It cathers a space for everyone to enjoy. Whether it's the morning breeze or the afternoon sun set it is a beautiful view that can take your mind of from your normal routine. Come along and enjoy whenever you can.

Nice calm waters for kids, enough space to play and swim, however there is rocky patches walking into the ocean
In summer swim between the patrol flags and pack extra water; winter mornings bring clear skies and chances to spot dolphins.
