I did the Story Bridge accessible climb last weekend and it was amazing! They have a custom built chair which climbs the stairs if you have accessibility/mobility challenges. I use a motorised wheelchair and often have difficulties with balance/positioning in other chairs, but the SBAC team made me feel so comfortable and helped set up the chair with as much support as possible. A cherished experience with my daughter. Our guide Sam was great : informative , friendly & caring. We did the 12.50pm climb , only us on it which made it even better. 500+ stairs but felt safe at all times & it wasn’t rushed. Parked in a pre booked parking station & short stroll to the bridge climb shop front. Lockers for belongings in the shop . Free cap included . Highly recommended.
