One of the best small parks. Colourful rose garden during the season. We visited in September and October period. Can hop in to a ferry and head up to Brisbane City from here.

It's well worth a visit just to walk along the river or to sit beneath the cool Jacarandas and watch the world go by. There's always something to entertain you in the park or on the river front.

Great coffee available with a few snacks and ice cream on a hot day. Beautiful rose gardens and heaps of shady trees. Love this park, we go at least once a week but gets a bit windy down near the river in winter so bring a jacket or blanket.
