Positives:

  • Free infant entry: Babies under 3 travel on laps and enter the sanctuary at no cost.
  • Pram accessibility: Wide lower deck and ramp boarding make stroller use easy on the cruise.

Challenges:

  • No dedicated nursing room on boat: Bring a portable blanket and use the standard restroom for privacy.
  • Wind and spray on deck: Secure stroller and pack a light blanket for baby if there’s dew or breeze.

The river cruise on Miramar II and a visit to the koala sanctuary is must. Great crue and fantastic service (try the coffee and a snack on board). Book tickets online so don't miss out.

This was awesome. Captain and crew were really great. Informative commentary along the way. We paid for the VIP and were not disappointed. Soft drink of choice at boarding, an alchol drink, cheese board and dessert upon departure. About 80-90 minutes one way.

Had a great time on this river cruise! It was chilly in the morning but thankfully the boat had blankets and a little cafe with hot drinks. The koala sanctuary was one of the #1 things I wanted to do while visiting Australia and I loved it, beautiful place with excellent staff and grounds. 100/10 would recommend to all in the area!

A great day out! The crew were very friendly and helpful, and the commentary informative. The trip allowed three hours at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (entry fee included), which was sufficient time to have a good look around and have a bite to eat. Some of the animals were most likely sleeping in the heat of the day, but lots of koalas were seen!! There is food and drinks available to purchase o...
