Holiday Inn Express Adelaide City Centre (with baby)

Quite clean and new in general. Rooms are in good size for two people. Walk-in shower is not my favourite. Once the light is on the whole room is lit up through the glass panel. Staff are generally ok and willing to help. Buffet breakfast is good. Overall is value for money.

Best part was the restaurant staff . Especially Jasmine and the other girls on in the mornings for breakfast. Helped us with anything we needed. Room was very noisy on Thursday night from hindley Street. Checked out Friday morning as would have been worse Friday night. Coffee machine to use for breakfast was only making barely warm coffee. Very disappointing experience. The rooms are supposed to be soundproof, however we were unable to sleep until 3 am due to excessive noise from outside. We could not use the TV as it would go black every time to tried to access Chromecast or any channels, and the toilet smelled a bit when we first came in. Location is great and room is clean & very spacious with a huge toilet. However room for improvement is the customer service 1stly they didn't reply my email of late check in and 2ndly when i managed to reach here the following day and front desk is not helpful at all when I have difficulty in access to their suggested parking building. I had a lovely 6 night stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was compact but had everything I needed for my stay. I liked that the TV had chrome cast to stream TV and movies. The staff were friendly and housekeeping was great. I chose the hotel due to its convenient location. You can walk to the train station, Rundle Mall and the art gallery.
